What We Do

Lotus Flower Trust is the realisation of a dream – the dream to provide schools to those who previously had no chance of education – safe, warm homes to the homeless - and skills centres to equip people for the 21st century – and, ultimately, to change lives forever.

Identifying Need

Whilst India is a growing economy, the divide between rich and poor is considerable – with 37% of the population below the poverty line* (below US$1.25 per day). The most recent data also shows that one in three malnourished children worldwide is found in India. **

With limited resources and the goal of ensuring the greatest impact on the largest number of lives, Lotus Flower Trust realises the importance of putting all monies raised to the best possible use.  Through close ties with communities, needs are identified and real change takes place – thus impacting some of the most impoverished people. The projects are realistic and sustainable.
