So happy to share with you that the Administration (Government) of Ladakh has honoured the villagers of Ursi for the successful installation of the Artificial Glacier, funded by generous sponsors through the Lotus Flower Trust, which has restored water to the village and helped change so many lives.

The photographs show Ursi villagers at the site of the Artificial Glacier holding their Certificate of Appreciation awarded by the Sub Divisional Magistrate at Khaltsi - clear recognition of the success of the project.

Lotus Flower Trust plans to fund and install many other Artificial Glaciers in Ladakh to help save many more lives in villages where water is dramatically reduced due to the effects of climate change.
