Members from the Special Olympics International team recently visited our flagship JSR Residential School for Children with Special Needs in Uttrakhand. Here they met with all our special athletes and their coaches. They were most impressed with the work of JSR and the progress of all our Special Athletes. Congratulations to Jitender who was selected to try out for the World Games to be held in Abu Dhabi in 2019.
Jitender will attend 3 further training camps to compete in 100 and 200 metre races. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he will be selected to go through to the Special Olympics World Games! Well done and good luck Jitender!
