Lotus Flower Trust promised the Indian Child Welfare Society and Education Department to help fund the building of 30 Anganwadi, or Kindergartens, in remote regions of Ladakh. This is to help promote early years education and establish a culture of 'going to school' when previously opportunities for children here were limited to working on the land.

The year 2019 has been another very successful year for the Trust. It is 11 years since we formed and in this time we have funded and built 37 projects in Ladakh, 16 in Uttrakhand and one each in Assam, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu: a fantastic total of 57 projects changing the lives of thousands of children, those with special needs and women in conflict with their families.
