This very successful project, the Brahmaputra Home for Railway Children was funded and built to get children away from the appalling slums in Guwahati, Assam. Working with local NGO Action Aid, additional funds are required to move the kitchen out of the home and to build additional washing and toilet facilities. The kitchen needs to be moved for safety purposes and to free up more space for more children to reside at the home. There are currently 29 children here but the additional space and facilities would allow more than 50 children to relocate from the slums. Please Donate if you can.
