The year 2019 has been another very successful year for the Trust. It is 11 years since we formed and in this time we have funded and built 37 projects in Ladakh, 16 in Uttrakhand and one each in Assam, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu: a fantastic total of 57 projects changing the lives of thousands of children, those with special needs and women in conflict with their families.

Helping Hands for Bharti
Lotus Flower Trust’s Founder and CEO John Hunt first met Bharti eleven years ago when she was a destitute nine-year-old and living in a small, one-roomed refuge for 20 children with special needs and disabilities. She was writing Sanskrit with a pen held between the stumps of her arms and her chest.
